This study explains concepts of Information Architecture. Traditional system of colon classification has been utilized for classifying the web sites. Purpose of this study is to minimize the unnecessary generation of outputs while searching sources from Internet. Basic structures of various web sites have been explored to apply the basics of library classification. Sixth edition of colon classification have been suggested as a ideal source for classifying the modern websites through various examples.
