Abstract

This study aims to analyze to what extent the college libraries serve the candidates who are preparing for competitive examinations. It also comparatively analyses the performance of Government and private college Libraries. Area of study selected is colleges from Chennai. Specifically it also analyses through questionnaire method nature of documents referred type of libraries visited by aspirants, category of colleges which the students belong and gender wise analysis of students based on their attempts and results
