Tamilnadu Government Strives hard to uplift the socio-economic status of its citizens through various schemes. An attempt was made in this study to reach the outreach to provide vital information about the Government facilities. A conceptual model was set up for the Rural information Centre for Government Welfare Schemes. The proposed Tamilnadu Rural Information Centre for Government Schemes (TRICGOS) will be a cooperative venture of Ministry of Social Welfare, Ministry of Local Administration and Ministry of Education covering all the districts of Tamilnadu through network.
